SpeedUP Video Pro is engineered with a privacy-first architecture, ensuring that all video speed controls operate 100% locally on your computer without transmitting your personal data or browsing activity to remote servers.

🚫 1. Data Collection & Telemetry (Zero Tracking)

SpeedUP Video Pro does NOT collect, record, log, monitor, transmit, or sell any personal data or browsing activity.

• We do NOT collect your IP address, device identifier, location, or browser history.
• We do NOT monitor or track the websites you visit, video titles you watch, or video URLs.
• We do NOT sell, rent, trade, or monetize any user information to advertisers, third parties, or data brokers.
• We do NOT use any analytics, web beacons, tracking scripts, or telemetry frameworks.

💾 2. Browser Storage & Permissions (chrome.storage.local)

The Extension requests standard Chrome extension permissions solely to deliver video playback control functionality. All stored data remains exclusively inside your browser's isolated local storage:

• User Playback Preferences: Remembers your preferred video speed multiplier (e.g. 1.5x, 2.0x) locally.
• License & Trial Status: Saves your validated license key token or trial duration locally to enable premium features.
• Script Injection: Interacts with standard HTML5 <video> elements directly on pages you browse to adjust speed locally. No external web pages or background scripts are requested or executed.

Note: Clearing your browser data or uninstalling the Extension completely removes all stored local preferences from your device.

💳 3. Third-Party Payment Processor (Lemon Squeezy)

Optional lifetime license key purchases for SpeedUP Video Pro are securely handled by our external Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy.

When you purchase a license key, payment processing is conducted entirely through Lemon Squeezy's secure payment platform under their Privacy Policy and terms. SpeedUP Video Pro never sees, collects, stores, or processes credit card details, financial data, or billing addresses.

⚖️ 4. User Rights (GDPR & CCPA Compliance)

Because SpeedUP Video Pro does not collect, store, or process any personal data on external servers, we fully comply with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

Since no personal data exists on our servers, there is no personal data to view, export, modify, or delete.
