2. 100% Local Execution
All video playback speed adjustments, HTML5 media manipulations, and custom hotkey listeners operate entirely locally within your web browser. No external scripts or remote analytics services are loaded during video playback.
3. Use of Local Storage
The extension uses Chrome’s built-in local storage (chrome.storage.local) strictly to store:
- Your preferred default playback speed setting.
- Your validated License Key to enable premium extension features.
This data remains stored locally on your device and is never shared with third parties.
4. Third-Party Payment Processing
Payments and license generation are handled securely by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy. When you purchase a license key, your billing information is processed directly by Lemon Squeezy under their privacy policy. We do not store or process your financial data or credit card numbers.
